About Mia
I am a pianist who you can feel comfortable teaching you or your kids. I live in Tennessee, and am a lover of classical pieces and modern alike. Although you may be skeptical due to my age, I want you to know that I am perfectly capable of teaching young minds to play this incredible instrument. I have two pianos, but I will be teaching using a Yamaha upright digital piano. I feel that I am the person called to challenge your students, while giving them the guidance needed to excel in their musical studies.

It’s time to learn piano! With one on one lessons, you will be sure to learn something new every lesson. I teach more classical peices, but strive to teach my students variety, including modern composers and classical composers. I would not be being honest if I told you that your student will be playing Chopin by the fifth lesson, but in time great progress will be made by the student, even if they are not playing advanced masterpieces for a while. I teach beginner and early intermediate learners by teaching, listening, and playing with them at their level, while still giving them the challenge to keep them excited and motivated to learn more. It is time for a new generation of learners to keep this amazing instrument alive!
