About Natalia

• I live in Ottawa, Canada, studying at Algonquin College in the Child and Youth Care program.

• I am from Mexico City.

• I have studied Piano Performance at the Faculty of Music at the National Autonomous University of Mexico.

• Piano instructor in the Suzuki Method since 2014.

• 13 years of experience teaching private lessons.

》 Children 3 years old and up: the Suzuki Method is used, a Japanese method known as the "Mother Tongue Method" which focuses on teaching and learning music the same way we learn to speak, so it is ideal for young children.

》 For teenagers and adults: traditional piano methodology, consisting of solfège, harmony, reading, music theory, music appreciation, piano technique and repertoire of the most important composers in music history.

》 Classes with a therapeutic approach: We often look for an extra activity in our routine to learn something new or feed our culture, but the piano class can also become a space to relax, relieve stress and move.

》Academically focused classes: for students who are interested in pursuing a professional music career, being admitted to some music school or improving their grades in their music studies.

》 Ottawa residents: in-person classes at home and online!

》Rest of the world: Online lessons at a time that suits us. I can adapt to any schedule in the world.
