About Cleo
With over 10 years of experience teaching piano, I help college students develop technical skills, creativity, and confidence. My lessons are flexible and personalised, designed to match each student’s learning style and musical interests.
I combine traditional techniques with creative teaching methods such as improvisation, composition exercises, and blending classical and modern music. I focus on technique, theory, rhythm, sight-reading, and performance skills while encouraging students to explore their creativity.
My aim is to make piano learning enjoyable, meaningful, and rewarding, helping students grow into confident musicians who enjoy expressing themselves through music.

My piano teaching methodology focuses on creativity, guidance, and responsibility. I believe piano learning should develop both musical skills and self-confidence.
Creativity is encouraged through interactive lessons, improvisation, and exploring different music genres. Students are guided to express themselves and enjoy the learning process.
As a mentor, I emphasise critical thinking by helping students understand rhythm, technique, scales, chords, and musical expression. Students learn to reflect on their playing and improve independently.
Accountability is emphasised through clear goal setting, structured practice routines, and regular progress tracking. This builds discipline, motivation, and long-term success.
Along with piano, I teach music theory, sight reading, ear training, rhythm exercises, keyboard basics, and basic composition to support complete musical development.
