About Grace

I am a piano tutor with 7 years of experience and a Master’s Degree in Piano Performance. My teaching philosophy is strongly influenced by the idea that music can tell stories, express emotions, and connect people in unique ways. Helping students discover those possibilities is one of my favorite aspects of teaching.

I enjoy guiding learners through repertoire that encourages imagination, expressive phrasing, and thoughtful interpretation. Lessons often include discussions about mood, character, imagery, and musical storytelling. Students are encouraged to develop both technical ability and artistic confidence.

I believe piano is more than an instrument; it is a powerful way to communicate emotions and ideas. Helping students find meaning in their playing while building strong skills is deeply rewarding. I look forward to supporting learners as they explore the creative possibilities of music.

About the lesson

My piano lessons encourage exploration, creativity, and musical understanding through an engaging learning experience. I use guided improvisation, call-and-response activities, storytelling through music, and sound exploration techniques that help students connect with the instrument in meaningful ways.
