About Betty

With 17 years of experience teaching Piano, I have helped students from different backgrounds achieve their musical goals. I teach school students, college students, and working professionals through structured, engaging, and personalized lessons.

My teaching philosophy focuses on encouragement, flexibility, and continuous growth. I believe that every student can become a confident musician with the right guidance and consistent practice. My lessons are designed to be simple, practical, and enjoyable.

Students in my classes learn piano fundamentals, scales, chords, rhythm exercises, sight reading, ear training, music theory, improvisation, and performance skills. I focus on building strong technical foundations while encouraging creativity and musical expression.

In addition to Piano, I teach keyboard techniques and music reading. These complementary skills help students understand music more deeply and improve their overall musicianship.

I enjoy seeing students gain confidence and achieve steady progress. My mission is to create a positive learning experience that inspires students to continue learning and enjoying music for many years.

About the lesson

My teaching approach focuses on communication, creativity, flexibility, and supportive guidance. I believe every student deserves lessons that are encouraging, enjoyable, and designed to help them reach their full musical potential. My classes are planned to suit each student's learning style and musical interests.

Students begin with posture, hand position, rhythm, finger exercises, note reading, and music theory. After mastering these basics, they move on to scales, chords, arpeggios, pedal techniques, dynamics, sight reading, expressive performance, and stage confidence.

I teach through demonstrations, practical exercises, listening activities, and regular revision. Students are encouraged to ask questions, understand every concept clearly, and build strong practice habits. Personalized guidance helps every student improve steadily.

Students experience different genres of music while developing creativity through improvisation, accompaniment, and expressive performance. These activities strengthen musical imagination and confidence.

Besides piano, I teach keyboard skills, ear training, rhythm development, music theory, sight reading, performance preparation, music appreciation, and beginner composition. These supporting subjects help students gain complete musical knowledge.

My goal is to inspire students to become confident musicians who enjoy learning and performing for many years.
