About Logan

I have 19 years of experience teaching Piano and enjoy helping college students become confident musicians through enjoyable and well-planned lessons. My goal is to make learning simple while helping students develop strong musical foundations.

My teaching approach is flexible because every student learns differently. I explain concepts clearly in simple English and create lessons that match each student's pace and learning goals.

I use innovative methods such as digital music applications, rhythm development, ear training, visual demonstrations, and creative practice routines. These approaches keep students motivated while improving their overall musical ability.

Students learn note reading, scales, chords, finger techniques, posture, rhythm, and expressive playing. I provide continuous support, personalized practice plans, and regular encouragement that help students progress steadily.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology is based on communication, creativity, flexibility, and structured progress. I believe piano learning should be simple, enjoyable, and meaningful for every student. I focus on building confidence step by step so that students feel comfortable with both technical skills and musical expression.

Students begin with the basics such as posture, hand position, finger exercises, rhythm, note reading, and fundamental music theory. After these essentials are strong, they move on to scales, chords, arpeggios, dynamics, articulation, pedal techniques, sight reading, expressive performance, and stage readiness. Each concept is taught in a clear and gradual way.

I use demonstrations, guided practice, listening activities, and interactive explanations to make lessons easy to understand. Students receive personalized feedback and practice plans that help them improve steadily and stay motivated.

Students also explore different styles of music like classical, pop, jazz, devotional, film music, and modern piano pieces. Creative tasks like improvisation and accompaniment help students develop musical independence and expression.

Besides piano, I teach keyboard, ear training, rhythm training, music theory, sight reading, music appreciation, beginner composition, and performance preparation.

My goal is to help students enjoy learning, build confidence, and grow into expressive musicians.
