About Rhea

I have 9 years of experience teaching piano, and I hold a Master’s Degree in Piano Performance. My journey began with a strong interest in music, which gradually developed into a deep passion for the piano. Through years of learning and practice, I gained both technical skill and musical understanding, which I now share with my students in a clear and supportive way.

My teaching approach is patient, structured, and adaptable. I understand that every student learns at a different pace, so I take time to understand their needs and adjust my lessons accordingly. I focus on building strong fundamentals while also encouraging creativity and expression. This helps students stay motivated and develop confidence in their abilities over time.

Outside of teaching, I continue practicing and exploring different musical styles to improve my own skills. This allows me to bring fresh ideas into my lessons and keep them engaging. Teaching piano is very meaningful to me because I get to see students grow from beginners into confident musicians. Supporting their progress and helping them enjoy music gives me a deep sense of satisfaction and purpose.

About the lesson

My piano lessons are designed to help students learn music in a clear and structured way while enjoying every step of the process. I begin with essential fundamentals such as correct hand position, finger strength, note reading, and rhythm understanding. Each concept is explained in simple language so students can follow comfortably without confusion. I also include exercises and beginner-friendly pieces that help students connect technical learning with real music, making lessons more engaging and meaningful.

I adapt each lesson based on the student’s level and learning goals so that progress feels smooth and steady. Beginners focus on simple melodies, basic coordination, and reading notes confidently. Intermediate learners work on improving rhythm control, playing with both hands smoothly, and understanding musical patterns. Advanced students focus on expression, dynamics, and refining their performance skills. I provide clear guidance and regular feedback so students can improve step by step while staying motivated.

As students continue learning, they develop a deeper connection with music and gain confidence in their playing. They become more independent in practice and start expressing emotions through their performance naturally. Over time, they build discipline, focus, and creativity, which supports their growth not only as musicians but also as learners. My goal is to help students enjoy music deeply while becoming confident pianists who can play with clarity and expression in different settings.
