About Keesha
Because you deserve high-quality instruction, I draw upon my Bachelor of Music from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama to assist you. Having taught 72 students over 4 years, I specialise in accompaniment skills, sight reading, chord voicing, sight transposition, jazz improvisation, grade exam prep, and classical repertoire. My experience allows me to break down complex piano concepts into manageable steps that align with your specific goals. I maintain a steady, methodical focus on building your technical accuracy while ensuring the musicality of your performance remains the primary objective.

The metronome clicks steadily while I listen to your initial phrasing to determine your technical comfort zone. By focusing on immediate, actionable feedback, I ensure that every 6.0 minute segment of our time together builds upon your existing knowledge. My degree from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama informs how I guide you through repertoire and theory, while my 4 years of full-time teaching allow me to adjust to your specific learning pace. I emphasise practical application over abstract concepts to ensure you hear tangible improvements during every session.
We work through challenging chord voicings and transposition exercises to broaden your versatility at the keyboard. This structure keeps our progress consistent and musical. My sessions move at a pace that keeps you engaged without feeling rushed through difficult technical passages. I provide the necessary tools for you to refine your touch and improve your sight reading.
