About Vanessa
My journey with piano began through a fascination with musical expression and artistic storytelling. I completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance before earning a PhD in Piano Interpretation and Performance. During the past 13 years, I have guided students through different stages of their musical development.
I enjoy teaching because every student brings unique strengths, goals, and musical interests to lessons. My teaching style combines patience, structure, and encouragement while adapting to each learner’s needs. Building confidence is an essential part of helping students achieve success.
Outside teaching, I enjoy performing, studying classical repertoire, and exploring new approaches to music education. These experiences help me bring fresh ideas and inspiration into lessons. Helping students discover joy, confidence, and artistic growth through piano remains one of the most fulfilling parts of my profession.

My piano lessons are designed to help students develop strong technical skills while encouraging creativity and musical expression. Topics such as finger independence, rhythm training, sight-reading, scales, chord progressions, dynamics, articulation, and performance preparation are taught through structured exercises and carefully selected repertoire. I focus on helping learners build both confidence and musical understanding.
Every lesson is customised according to the student’s level, interests, and goals. Beginners establish strong foundations through fundamental techniques, while advanced students refine interpretation, technical control, and stage performance skills. Regular practice plans and constructive feedback help learners progress steadily.
I encourage students to enjoy the learning process while developing discipline and consistency. Piano becomes more meaningful when students understand how technique and expression work together. My goal is to help learners become confident musicians who enjoy sharing their musical abilities.
