About Daniel

I have over 11 years of experience teaching piano to college students and enjoy helping them grow into confident and expressive musicians. My teaching style is student-centered and flexible, allowing lessons to match each learner’s pace, goals, and musical interests. I focus on building strong foundations in piano technique, sight-reading, rhythm, and music theory.

To make learning enjoyable, I use creative methods such as improvisation exercises, composition activities, and blending classical music with modern styles. I also help students develop performance confidence and emotional expression in their playing. My goal is to create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel motivated, comfortable, and excited to learn piano.

About the lesson

My piano teaching methodology is creative, student-focused, and supportive. I aim to mentor students while helping them grow into confident, independent musicians.

Creativity is central to my lessons. Students explore songs they enjoy, practice improvisation, and take part in interactive musical exercises. This keeps learning fun, inspiring, and engaging.

As a critical thinker, I help students understand rhythm, scales, chords, hand coordination, and musical expression. Complex concepts are simplified so students can learn efficiently and improve steadily.

Accountability is emphasized through clear goal setting, structured practice routines, and regular progress reviews. This helps students stay disciplined, focused, and motivated.

Along with piano, I teach music theory, sight reading, ear training, rhythm exercises, keyboard basics, and basic composition to strengthen overall musical skills
