About Laura

Hello, my name is Laura Loriga, and I am a classically trained pianist, composer, performer, and touring musician (as pianist and singer), with a twelve-year experience in the United States (six years in California, six years in New York) and Europe. I have been a piano teacher for the past eight years, with students of all ages (6 to 70) and abilities. I moved to London in 2020, and I love e teaching my students here. My private lessons usually focus on technique and repertoire, but also on musicianship, ear training, improvisation, and theory. I have a classical background, but I play and teach different styles as well (contemporary, pop, etc.), and each programme can be tailored specifically for every student. My qualifications: - Ten years of classical training in Bologna, Italy (with teacher Claudia Cesari). - Voice lessons with singer Janis Brenner (choreography teacher at Juilliard School, New York) - Hundreds of performances in venues, theatres, festivals, on TV and radio, with my main project (Mimes of Wine), as well as with a range of collaborations, with relative press and reviews. - Seven years of composing collaborations for studio records and film scoring, among which those with Leonardo de Bernardini and Andrea Morricone (and current contract with Accidental Entertainment, music licensing and synchronisation company based in Los Angeles). About the lesson
