About Catherine

I have been learning piano since the age of seven and have been sitting examinations for multiple grades (ABRSM). I also have the experience of learning the theory behind the piano and the history of music, which has always been fascinating! Throughout the years I have played in multiple orchestras and music events. I have been teaching dozens of students in the past 3 years, and all my students leave lessons happy and determined to succeed. All of which have passed their piano exams or entrance scholar exams in private schools and received high marks (100% pass rate). I always teach them to achieve the best grade they are capable of. Some have even gone on to learn their own songs and make compositions.

About the lesson

I am a professional, knowledgeable and enthusiastic individual who is committed to strengthening students' piano and music skills. My expertise and passion lie in teaching Piano and my one-to-one, calm and creative approach to sessions ensure that students are challenged to reach their potential. I aim to cater my approach to meet the individual needs of every child.

Perfect! Catherine has been teaching my son for over a year now. She has a very calm and pleasant teaching style, with her encouragement she has instilled confidence in my son. Her feedback and guidance has helped him perform very well in his Grade 2 exam.
