About Cassandra
My teaching methodology is built on real-life examples and case studies that make learning piano both practical and engaging. I focus on developing technical skills, music theory, and creative expression in a way that aligns with each student’s unique needs and goals. By incorporating relevant, real-world scenarios, I aim to show students how the concepts they learn apply in everyday musical contexts. Accountability is a key part of my approach. I set clear expectations, track progress, and ensure consistent practice to keep students motivated and focused. Compassion is central to my teaching style; I provide a supportive and patient environment that helps students overcome challenges and build confidence at their own pace. Flexibility is another core aspect, as I adapt my lessons to suit different learning speeds and styles, whether it's preparing for exams, enhancing performance, or exploring composition. Beyond piano, I offer guidance in relevant subjects like music theory, ear training, and composition, ensuring a well-rounded musical education.
