About Ravi
My name is Ravi, and I am an APPI-certified Pilates instructor, trained at Unite Health in Melbourne, Australia. I work with people who want to move better, feel stronger, and develop a deeper awareness of their bodies—without fear, pressure, or unrealistic expectations. My approach to Pilates is calm, mindful, and rooted in understanding how the body truly functions in daily life. My journey into movement began with a curiosity about how the body adapts, heals, and responds to intentional practice. Over time, this evolved into a desire to help others feel more connected to their bodies, not only during a session but beyond it—at work, at home, and in everyday movement. I integrate principles from Pilates, mindful mobility, and yoga-inspired practices to support posture, flexibility, balance, and overall well-being. Whether you are a beginner, returning after a break, or simply looking to move more consciously, I focus on making sessions safe, accessible, and tailored to your individual needs. My goal is to create a supportive and relaxed learning environment where you can slow down, listen to your body, and build strength from the inside out—at a pace that feels right for you.

I teach both Mat Pilates and Reformer Pilates using the APPI method, a physiotherapy-informed approach that emphasizes alignment, controlled movement, and a strong mind–body connection. Each session is designed to help you understand how your body moves, what it needs, and how to build strength safely and sustainably. My focus is not just on exercise, but on awareness—learning to move with intention, clarity, and confidence. Mat Pilates sessions focus on using your own body weight, breath, and controlled movement to build functional strength and mobility. These classes are ideal for beginners as well as those looking to improve posture, stability, and overall movement quality. Reformer Pilates uses a specialized machine with springs and pulleys to provide resistance and support. This allows movements to be both challenging and controlled, making it highly effective for building strength while respecting the body’s needs.
