About Julie

I have been working with music-specifically piano- for almost my whole life! I started lessons when I was around six years old and progressed from there, playing for my youth group, performing in many areas, teaching students, and playing on a worship team. Piano is the one skill that I have found that comes most naturally to me, and I love teaching people any new skill- especially when I know how to do it well! I am all about thinking outside the box and am very type B, so if there is a piece you want to learn you can bring it to me and I will teach you not only how to play it, but lock it in your memory so you can play it anytime, anywhere.

About the lesson

i would love getting to know you so that i know how i can better serve you while teaching you. we could discuss your learning styles such as if you are more visual, more hands-on learning and love jumping into it to learn for yourself, or if you would love to just sit back and listen until you feel like you’ve grasped it! i don’t believe there is one good way to teach a skill except for learning the students and how they learn best.
