About Sayyah (Patricia)
I’m really excited to work with you! With my over 15 years of teaching a wide range of students, including high school and young adults, I know how to make learning engaging and effective. I hold a Master’s in Education from American University and a Bachelor’s in English from Trinity University. I’m also a published author, so I’ve got a lot of experience to share. Can’t wait to get started!

I teach from a culturally relevant POV which makes English fun and engaging. As a special education teacher I’ve taught students who learn differently. I meet students where they are and bring them where they need to be academically. Every student is different and building relationships with students is the first step to understanding how they learn best. I help with all aspects of reading and writing. (Essays, structure, grammar, ideas, editing etc)
