About Stefan
So, I have a disability ([multiple sclerosis [or MS]), but I have not let that change in my life stop me.
I have hiked volcanoes such as Mt. Etna and mountains such as Mt. Blanc. Although I loved my Mt. Blanc hike it is not my favourite hike. I think my favourite hike was my hike up Stromboli volcano. People (always) ask me why and I always say it was because something strange was happening that night with the volcano in Stromboli. The volcano which spurts lava often trickled down the side of the volcano. Instead. As it became dark, I saw a long stream of red-hot lava lighting up the skies as it became smoky. To me that is why that trip was my favourite.
I have also travelled to Venice. During my trip there I saw a lot of sights, I think I got there at roughly 9.30am and walked everywhere. I got back to the hotel at 2am!
I have also travelled to Cinque Terre in Italy (meaning 5 lands in Italian). Here I visited:
Monterosso
Vernazza
Corniglia
Manarola
Riomaggiore
I was here for 4 days, and I walked from each town over the next. I visited one town per day. My feet were hurting, but it was well worth it! Also, during this time I was eating gelato almost non-stop, and I have even eaten basil and vanilla flavoured gelato which despite the name was actually lovely.
I do love swimming and often swim in events, and I have tried a tester session in scuba diving. I would love to gain my PADI level one, if I get qualified, I can explore underwater when on holiday.
The next thing I plan to do is skydiving so stay tuned!
So, despite my disability I have done a lot, and nothing can stop you too. It should not matter what your age is! If it is safe and practical nothing can stop, you! If you need a certain grade in your English, we can work together to get that grade!

I studied English at Birkbeck University while I became a dad and a husband. I have experience as a tutor and tutor all ages.
My lessons are well organised and structured. I build rapport with my students and my lessons are personal to all of my students.
It is always about the journey not just the destination. However, that is not to say that the destination is not important, but the journey is just as important too!
I listen, build rapport and make lessons personal to the you. I like to ensure that I am always building the student's confidence.
No matter what the student level may be, if they need a question to be further explained or made clearer I will do to this. I plan to get them to tell me the answers to questions needed, as it is easier for the student to remember if it was an answer which gave themselves:
Remember, it is also about the journey not just the destination. If you are in an exam or test and you forget the correct answer you may be stuck. Although to avoid this I will help you to find it yourself so you will feel confident in giving the correct answers.
I plan to teach you how to pull apart texts (depending on your level) and make your lessons enjoyable.
A typical lesson will be 1 hour minutes, but if you would like it shorter or longer please let me know.
