About Kristof

I am a qualified Polish language teacher based in Poland, specializing in teaching Polish as a foreign language.

I hold a postgraduate diploma in teaching Polish as a foreign language from the University of Warsaw, where I completed specialist training in Polish language teaching methodology, grammar, pronunciation, lesson planning, and working with learners at different CEFR levels.

I have experience teaching Polish to adult learners from different countries, including complete beginners and students who need Polish for everyday life, family communication, work, relocation, or long-term life in Poland. I also have experience working with Polish language assessment and examination standards.

My lessons are practical, structured, and focused on helping students actually use Polish. I pay particular attention to pronunciation, speaking confidence, useful vocabulary, grammar in context, and understanding how Polish works rather than simply memorizing rules.

I am currently based in Poland, which means I teach the language in the cultural and everyday context in which it is actually used.

In addition to my Polish teaching qualifications, I hold an MA in Conference Interpreting from London Metropolitan University and a Level 5 TEFL Diploma. I also spent many years working as a translator and interpreter in the UK, which gives me an additional perspective on language learning and communication.

My aim is to make Polish clear, practical, and manageable, even for students starting from zero.

About the lesson

My Polish lessons are practical, structured, and tailored to your goals, level, and learning pace. I work with complete beginners as well as learners who want to improve their speaking, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, listening, and confidence.

A typical lesson combines useful everyday Polish with guided speaking, pronunciation practice, vocabulary, and grammar presented in context. I use real-life situations, role-plays, short listening and reading activities, and personalized exercises rather than relying only on a textbook.

At the beginning, we identify your goals and create a clear learning plan. I also regularly review your progress so that you know exactly what you are improving and what to focus on next.

With over 5,000 hours of online teaching experience, I know how to make lessons clear, supportive, and engaging.

My lessons are especially suitable for adults learning Polish for everyday life, family, work, travel, or moving to Poland.
