About Cassidy

With more than 14 years of drum teaching experience, I support school, college, and working professional students who want to build strong rhythmic skills. My teaching style is friendly, clear, and based on helping students grow steadily without pressure. Students learn stick techniques, timing, rhythm reading, coordination, and playing different styles. I also teach how to break down songs, perform confidently, and practice effectively.

I use demonstrations, warm-ups, and structured drills to make lessons productive and enjoyable. I teach related subjects such as rhythm theory, music fundamentals, performance preparation, and musical ear training. These help students gain deeper musical understanding. My unique strength is creating a comfortable learning environment where students feel motivated. I guide them step by step and celebrate their progress. My goal is to help learners become confident and expressive drummers.

About the lesson

My drum teaching style combines Communication, Creativity, and Flexibility. Communication helps me understand what each student wants to learn and how they feel during lessons. I explain techniques clearly and make sure students always know the purpose of each exercise. This builds trust and confidence in the learning process.

Creativity brings energy to every session. I encourage students to explore rhythm in different ways, such as creating their own grooves, experimenting with tempo changes, and improvising drum fills. They also play along with music tracks, helping them build real-world timing and groove. These creative activities allow students to discover their own musical style and enjoy learning more.

Flexibility allows me to shape lessons according to the student’s pace and preferences. I adjust exercises, speed, and difficulty depending on how comfortably the student progresses. If a student finds something challenging, I break it down and guide them step by step. If they advance quickly, I introduce more complex patterns.

Besides drums, I also teach rhythm training and beginner theory. My goal is to support each student with a flexible, creative, and encouraging approach.
