About Lucrezia
My name is Lucrezia, I am from Rome (Italy) but I moved to the UK in 2019.
I have always loved foreign languages and have always found it easier to learn them by immersing myself in the culture and customs.
I usually do this through music, podcasts and movies, as well as travelling and meeting new people, when possible.
Unfortunately, my school implemented a completely different approach, focused on repetitive grammar books and very little interaction.
This would often result in highly disengaged students and it inspired me to teach languages myself, proposing the techniques that best worked for me.

It is a lot easier to learn a language if you are having fun!
I like to find common interests with my students, which I use to design engaging grammar, writing and speaking exercises.
To make lessons more interactive and fun, I use songs and videos to help hit the goals we set together at the start.
I usually give 1.5-hour lessons to beginners/intermediate-level students aged 12+ but can be quite flexible depending on the student's needs.
