About Esha

I'm a dedicated and approachable tutor currently studying Politics and Sociology at university. My academic background has equipped me with strong analytical and communication skills, which I bring into every lesson. I’m genuinely passionate about education and take pride in helping students unlock their potential — especially in a subject as important as English. What sets me apart is my ability to connect with students and explain things in a way that makes sense to them. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all teaching; instead, I adapt my style to suit each student’s needs, learning pace, and goals. I’m reliable, well-organised, and always make sure my students feel heard and supported. Tutoring for me isn’t just about improving grades — it’s about building confidence and encouraging independent thinking. I aim to make each session productive, focused, and enjoyable, so students leave feeling more capable than when they arrived.

About the lesson

My tutoring style is friendly, patient, and focused on building confidence. I believe that students learn best when they feel comfortable, so I create a supportive environment where they can ask questions, make mistakes, and truly understand the material rather than just memorise it. I break down topics into simple, manageable steps and use real-life examples to make the content feel relevant and engaging, especially in English, where analysis and interpretation can feel abstract. I often use past paper questions, model answers, and interactive discussions to help students strengthen their understanding and exam skills. Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, which gives us enough time to review previous learning, introduce a new concept, and practise it together. I also adjust my pace and materials depending on the student’s needs, whether they need help catching up, pushing for top grades, or building basic skills. I'm currently studying Politics and Sociology at university, which has strengthened my communication, critical thinking, and essay-writing skills — all of which are key in English. I also have tutoring experience and understand how to support students who may feel unsure about the subject or need help structuring their answers. My lessons are aimed at GCSE English students, typically aged 13 to 16, but I’m happy to support younger students as well if they need help with reading, writing, or general English skills.
