About Summer
I am in my second year of undergraduate study at the University of Brighton. I study Politics, yet retain a passion for literature as a result of my study of it at A level, leaving with a grade A in the subject. I am very confident in tutoring this subject, due to my years of experience, and want to do so purely because of my passion for education. I love helping garner a greater understanding of literature, having helped students obtain grades an average of three times higher than before they started learning with me.

I take the time to understand my tutee's areas of strengths and weaknesses, leading with patience and compassion. I discuss exam technique and provide advice and suggestions on how to improve written work and further enhance understandings of assigned texts. I have two years of experience in tutoring GCSE English, and a year of tutoring A level English Literature. My lessons are for people of that age range, so roughly 15-18. My lessons will typically run for an hour, though I have been known to stay 10-15 minutes longer to make sure my tutee feels confident with the subject matter.
