I am a postgraduate in English Literature with a strong interest in postcolonial studies, film studies, and literary theory. I enjoy exploring the intersection of literature, culture, and society through research and teaching. I believe students learn best when they actively participate rather than simply listen. My classes will not be limited to explaining the text line by line. I will connect literature with real-life situations, current social issues, films, and everyday experiences so that students understand why a text still matters today. I encourage discussions, questions, and critical thinking instead of memorization. I also use simple language to explain difficult theories before gradually introducing academic concepts. My goal is to create a classroom where students feel comfortable expressing their ideas and developing their own interpretations.
