About Sappho
I have been teaching piano one-to-one class since 2009 and also teach group classe, both piano group classe and music theory group classe. Most of my students have participated in the ABRSM exam and various amateur international competitions, all with excellent results.
I was also a teaching director in a music institution, responsible for the recruitment, training and assessment of teachers. I have created many music textbooks suitable for students of different ages, for group lessons, one-to-one lessons, music appreciation lessons and instrumental playing lessons. I have also organized student concerts, parents' meetings, music salons and various other activities that are beneficial for students to enhance their interest in music.

My teaching method is adapted to students of different ages and personalities. For example, for younger students, I use a lively tone coupled with some finger games to cultivate the children's interest. I also emphasize on the development of basic skills so that they can play beautiful music with well developed finger skills. This will give them both good basic skills and the joy of music.For older children, I am more likely to let them express their views on music and discuss music with them as a way to keep their enthusiasm for learning music.
