About Hayati
I am a postgraduate student of Sociology at the London School of Economics - I got here because I love learning and reading! I read voraciously and would regard it as one of my greatest achievements if I could inspire a love of words in those I tutor. I have taught young children English, as well as A-Level and university students, so I have a range of experience in the teaching field. I look to make language learning experiential and fun, and teach through activities and doing rather than old-fashioned rote memorisation.

A typical lesson ranges between 45 minutes to an hour, and will be tailored to the student's language requirements. The overall lesson plan will cover all aspects of the required material - conversation practice and vocabulary for more rudimentary learners, and aspects of academic writing, rhetoric, and organisation for more advanced requirements. I served as a peer writing tutor at the University of Tokyo for English language writing, and also have experience as a kindergarten teacher of English, which has given me a wide range of expertise. Lessons can range from students aged 10 upwards, to university or university-entrance level students or persons.
