January 2015 to August 2018
Taught French as a foreign language within the academic high school programme (gymnasium/grammar school). Participated in the teaching faculty council meetings and the Foreign Languages Development Committee. From 2016 on, served additionally as a Form Tutor for the new grammar school generation, superintending the educational progress and development of students, maintaining discipline, administering documentation and reports, and liaising between students, parents, and teaching staff.
Accomplishments:
• In 2015, organized a support campaign for the high schools impacted by 2015 Paris attacks.
• In 2016, facilitated rehearsals and performance of a song in French by a senior class at the 2016 graduation ceremony.
• In 2017, launched a French club offering language and culture courses to students outside the grammar school program.
• The grammar school form I had tutored from 2016 to 2018 has experienced significant academic and behavioural growth - from form average of 3.35 GPA, 4 exam retakes and 8 disciplinary notes to 3.9 GPA, and no exam retakes nor disciplinary notes.

As a fully qualified (M.Ed) French Teacher, I can teach all ages and all levels - from Beginners through Intermediate to Advanced.
Generally, I like to strike a good balance of communication and learning language rules (i.e. grammar), with lots of authentic and contemporary materials, such as music, videos, texts, etc. For IELTS, I am focused on exam-specific exercises and skills.
My style has always been to teach in a friendly atmosphere, apt to encourage timid students and make people comfortable enough to use a foreign language. You don't need to fear of making mistakes during my lessons or feel stupid for trying and failing. You're learning - you're supposed to do all that.
