About Valentina
I am a flute tutor with 5 years of teaching experience, having taught over 150 students across all levels. My teaching philosophy emphasises both technical development and creative exploration. I guide students in mastering breath control, tone, finger agility, and rhythm while encouraging improvisation and musical interpretation.
Lessons are personalised to each student’s learning style and objectives, ensuring steady progress and motivation. I also cover sight-reading, music theory, and ensemble performance, providing a comprehensive musical education. My goal is to inspire students to play confidently, skilfully, and passionately.

I teach flute with a methodology that emphasises adaptability, collaboration, and positivity. Every student learns differently, so I design lessons to match their unique learning style, pace, and goals. This ensures learning is effective, enjoyable, and encourages a love for music.
Flexibility allows me to adjust exercises, repertoire, and practice routines based on each student’s progress and interests. Collaboration is a core element: students participate in duets, group exercises, and ensemble practice to strengthen musical communication, confidence, and expressive skills. Positivity forms the foundation of every lesson, creating a nurturing environment where students feel empowered to explore, experiment, and celebrate their achievements.
Alongside flute instruction, I include music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, and ear training. This comprehensive approach nurtures technical mastery, musical understanding, and artistic expression, helping students become confident and versatile musicians.
