I’m Matisse, a French teacher passionate about languages and travel. My lessons are friendly, practical, and designed to help you speak confidently from day one, using French in real-life situations with a clear structure so you can progress quickly.
I’ve traveled to more than 50 countries and lived abroad in different parts of the world, which has helped me understand diverse cultures and ways of communicating. This allows me to create lessons that are more human, natural, and tailored to each student.
Lessons are conducted in French, English or Spanish, so you’ll always feel comfortable expressing yourself and learning without pressure.

I picked Matisse because I wanted someone who would actually talk about topics I care about instead of just textbook stuff. He listens a lot, corrects pronunciation gently, and never rushes you. After a few lessons I started feeling less stuck when I speak. It’s nice to have someone who makes the lessons feel like a real chat.
Before starting with Matisse, I was afraid of speaking French. Now I genuinely enjoy conversations and feel much more natural expressing myself as he encourages you to speak as much as possible and builds your confidence step by step. I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to feel confident speaking French.
