About Brooks
My interest in programming started when I became curious about how websites, applications, and software systems operate behind the scenes. This curiosity inspired me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology and later begin mentoring students interested in coding and software development.
Over the last 7 years, I have helped students strengthen their coding foundations through interactive exercises, real-world examples, and practical implementation methods. I enjoy creating lessons that make programming approachable and engaging for learners at different skill levels.
I believe programming education should focus on creativity, experimentation, and logical thinking rather than memorising syntax alone. My goal is to help students become confident developers who can adapt to evolving technologies, build innovative projects, and continue growing as independent technical problem solvers.

My programming lessons are built around practical learning, problem solving, and real coding experience. I teach Python, JavaScript, C++, SQL, web development, and software fundamentals using project-based methods that help students understand how programming works in real applications. Students learn how to design programmes, debug efficiently, and create organised solutions for technical challenges.
Lessons are structured according to the learner’s coding experience and career goals. Beginners focus on syntax, conditions, loops, and introductory logic-building exercises. Intermediate learners work on functions, object-oriented programming, and algorithmic thinking. Advanced students explore application development, APIs, databases, and optimisation techniques through practical projects. Continuous coding practice improves technical fluency, creativity, and independent problem-solving skills.
My aim is to help students develop adaptable programming abilities that prepare them for modern technology environments. Through hands-on learning and guided project development, learners gain confidence to handle academic coding tasks, software development challenges, and future careers in technology and innovation.
