About Maling
I am a passionate Violin tutor with 5 years of teaching experience, successfully guiding around 150 students in their musical journeys. My approach focuses on combining technical excellence with creative expression. I emphasise mastering core fundamentals such as posture alignment, bow control, finger accuracy, tone clarity, and rhythm precision.
As students grow, I introduce expressive techniques, advanced exercises, and performance preparation to build stage confidence. I believe in creating a supportive and motivating learning environment where students feel comfortable progressing at their own pace.
I provide regular feedback and structured practice routines to ensure consistent improvement. A unique quality I bring is my ability to simplify complex techniques and make learning approachable. My goal is to develop confident and expressive violinists who truly enjoy playing.

I believe violin learning should be systematic, engaging, and practical. My teaching style is based on open communication and personalised attention. I carefully adapt lessons according to each student’s pace and comfort level. I guide them through essential techniques like vibrato development, shifting positions, articulation control, and dynamic variation.
Alongside violin performance, I include subjects such as music theory, rhythm training, ear exercises, sight reading, music history, and ensemble performance skills. I use real-life performance examples like school concerts, competitions, and graded examinations to prepare students for stage experiences.
I also provide guidance on maintaining consistent practice habits. My objective is to build technical excellence along with confidence and creativity.
