About Maranda
I have recently finished my student teaching, and I am finishing up my edTPA. I have two years of experience in the classroom working one-on-one with students. I have a Bachelors in physics but I am trained to teach all STEAM topics. I have experience as a remote learning teacher, and would be a great help to students who are struggling with not being able to be in the classroom.

I use a method call Backwards Design. I review/create the assessment/standards your student will have to pass, and build my lessons from that. This allows me to make sure that the students are being taught what they are expected to know. Then once the student learned what they need to, we can expand their understanding to things they are interested in learning more about.
