About Joelle
I just finished my first year as a Cognitive Science Major on the PreMed track at Occidental College. I spent much of my high school career as a tutor for my peers as well as working as a tutor for underprivileged children.

My teaching method is to really allow the student to figure out the topic as much as they can without my help through strategies such as allowing them to talk through the subject to see if that can lead them to an answer. I also believe in allowing the student to explain the topic back to me at the end of the lesson in order to ensure that they truly understand the material.
