About Cohen
I am a passionate violin educator with 12 years of experience in teaching students from school to college levels. My teaching journey has allowed me to work with learners from different backgrounds and help them discover the confidence and creativity that music can bring into their lives.
My passion for education comes from my belief that every student has the potential to achieve success with the right support and guidance. I focus on making violin lessons engaging, practical, and enjoyable while helping students develop strong musical foundations.
I teach essential violin skills such as proper posture, bow techniques, finger placement, rhythm, musical expression, and performance skills. My approach combines clear explanations, regular practice methods, and personalized feedback to help students improve effectively.
A significant milestone in my career has been building meaningful connections with students and watching them grow as musicians. Seeing students perform confidently, overcome difficulties, and develop a genuine love for music has been one of the greatest rewards of my teaching experience.
I understand that every student learns differently, so I adjust my teaching methods based on their abilities, goals, and interests. Whether students are learning violin for personal enjoyment, academic purposes, or future musical opportunities, I provide the guidance and motivation they need.
I believe that a teacher’s role is not only to teach skills but also to inspire curiosity, confidence, and lifelong learning. My goal is to help students become independent learners who enjoy music and continue improving beyond the classroom.
Through dedication, patience, and a positive teaching approach, I strive to create a supportive environment where every student can experience the joy of violin and achieve their full potential.

My approach to teaching is based on understanding, patience, and support. I believe every student deserves individual attention and a learning experience that suits their unique needs.
For violin instruction, I focus on posture, bowing techniques, finger placement, intonation, and rhythm. I use clear explanations and demonstrations to make learning simple and effective. Students are encouraged to practice regularly and develop confidence through consistent effort.
I provide continuous encouragement and constructive feedback to help students overcome challenges and achieve their goals. I believe that a supportive learning environment helps students enjoy music and stay motivated.
Besides violin, I can also teach music theory, sight reading, ear training, and related musical concepts that strengthen overall understanding.
My mission is to help students become disciplined, creative, and confident musicians.
