About Emilee
I'm a 3rd year uni student currently completing a Bachelor of Primary and Special Education at ACU. I have experience working with kids with additional needs such as ADHD and autism as well as Intellectual Disabilities (IDs). I also currently work as a Learning Support Officer (LSO) in a primary school so am knowledgeable about current Victorian Curriculum requirements.
I have a passion for student growth. Big or small. I want all students who I help to achieve their best. I remember as a little girl in primary school sitting at the kitchen table with my parents as they tried to help me with my homework I would always end up in tears not understanding.
I aim to help kids feel less overwhelmed, more confident and more independent providing them with different ways at breaking down questions.

All kids learn differently. I aim to find what works best for them. Whether it's the hands-on use of physical tools to work through problems or visuals/drawings, I will find a strategy that students feel confident using independently.
Sessions can vary in length. Minimum session time is 30 min. Maximum session time is 90 min.
I offer lessons for any primary age students from Foundation/Prep level to grade 6.
