About Lauren
As a dedicated Spanish tutor with 20 years of experience, I strive to make every lesson enjoyable, meaningful, and productive for school and college students. I believe that language learning is most effective when students participate actively and practice regularly in a supportive environment.
I use interactive activities such as role-playing, speaking challenges, storytelling, pronunciation practice, vocabulary building, grammar workshops, listening exercises, and educational games. These methods help students improve naturally while keeping lessons interesting and motivating.
Apart from Spanish, I guide students in reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, listening comprehension, speaking fluency, conversational Spanish, travel Spanish, and exam preparation. Through patience, encouragement, and personalised teaching, I help students achieve steady progress and long-term success.

I believe every student can become a confident Spanish speaker with the right guidance and learning environment. My teaching methodology is based on Communication, Flexibility, Creativity, Accountability, and Integrity, allowing me to create lessons that are personalised, engaging, and practical.
My classes include Spanish, Spanish Grammar, Vocabulary Development, Reading Skills, Writing Skills, Listening Practice, Speaking Practice, Pronunciation, Conversational Spanish, Business Spanish, Travel Spanish, Hispanic Culture, and Exam Preparation. These connected subjects help students develop strong language skills for both academic success and everyday communication.
Communication is encouraged through regular conversations, discussions, pronunciation exercises, and listening practice. Students are motivated to use Spanish actively in every lesson instead of relying only on memorisation.
Flexibility allows me to modify teaching methods based on individual progress and learning preferences. Creativity keeps students interested by using interactive games, videos, storytelling, practical exercises, and authentic learning materials.
Accountability is maintained through structured lesson planning, consistent revision, meaningful assignments, and regular feedback that helps students monitor their improvement.
