About Benjamin
I have a background in Corporate Sales and Marketing, which redirected my career to become a School Teacher in 2016. My passion is helping children develop self-confidence and motivation in their learning and development journey, in order to reach their full potential in life. It is my aim to serve in the education sector in such a way that each and every student I come into contact with goes away feeling a sense of achievement and knowing they are more able and capable than they ever thought.

I believe in equipping students with the tools they need for a successful life-long learning journey by asking leading and closed questions. The student's answers to certain questions tells me many things about their understanding of the content and where there are gaps in knowledge or skill that need to be filled. Also, I will conduct pre and post testing to see what level students are at and then base my teaching on this information. I also encourage students to voice areas of where they believe they are competent and where they may need improvement; to help foster student ownership and agency. I will also encourage my students to "have a go!" and "do your best!" as you may just surprise yourself and have a fun time learning and growing.
