About Sue
Experience over 25 years in primary, secondary and adult education settings, an outstanding teacher (including SEN & EAL) and outstanding headteacher. As a tutor, I have had a 100% success rate with no drop outs. I have successfully supported children not expected to achieve age related in Sats, adults who have been unsuccessful in gaining interviews have got there! I believe in bringing out the best in people and never say its impossible!
Together we will reach your intended expectation or outcome.
The starting point is a free consultation in which we talk about your needs. Its an opportunity to meet informally and decide if you think I am the right person to support you or your child.
We will (if needed at this stage) complete a full diagnostic activity and assessment. This will then really help us to decide what the focus needs to be and how long we will need to achieve the intended target.
Once the process begins, I spend each session working towards an agreed milestone with a clear focus and learning strategy adapted to meet your child's or your needs; at the end of which we talk about how the session has gone so that I can adapt where necessary for next time to ensure you get the absolute best possible service. There will be some homework too! For this, I am contactable by email, skype or phone if there are any problems.
