About Niamh

Hi! I’m a fluent Irish speaker and a qualified primary school teacher with a real passion for Gaeilge and for helping others enjoy learning it.

As a teacher, I’ve seen first-hand how much of a difference the right support and a bit of confidence can make. I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and giving Irish a go without feeling nervous or embarrassed.

I decided to offer Irish grinds because I genuinely enjoy helping people improve. Whether you’re struggling with Irish, preparing for an important exam, or simply want to become more confident speaking Gaeilge, I want to make the learning process feel friendly, relaxed and achievable.

For me, Irish is much more than a subject in school — it’s a living language and an important part of our culture. I’d love to help you develop your skills while also showing you that Gaeilge can be enjoyable!

I’ll work with you at your own pace and tailor lessons around what you need most. My goal is simple: to help you feel more confident, make progress and hopefully develop a love for the language along the way.
