About Lyndsey
I have been a UK primary school teacher for over 15 years and I have worked across all primary ages from Year 1-Year 6. For the last 5 years, I have been a Deputy Headteacher leading teaching and learning. My teaching experience of the SATs curriculum is extensive as I spent seven years as Head of Year 6 while being a full-time Year 6 teacher.
I know and understand how children develop skills in primary learning at all stages, ensuring that I pitch lessons accordingly, therefore securing progress by supporting the right level, challenge and next steps to move learners forwards. I tutor English & Maths as well as providing sessions to prepare learners for their End of Key Stage 1 and 2 SATs assessments e.g reading, phonics and EGPS (English, Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling).
