About Jude
As a fully qualified Primary Teacher (QTS) with over 8 years of classroom experience, I have a passion for helping children develop confidence and enjoyment in English. I understand that every child learns differently, which is why I tailor my lessons to support individual needs, whether building foundational literacy skills, bridging gaps in understanding or challenging pupils to reach their full potential.
I create engaging lessons that develop strong reading, writing and SPaG skills through clear explanations, quality texts and purposeful activities. My aim is to help pupils become confident readers, effective writers and enthusiastic learners who can express their ideas clearly and creatively.

My KS2 English lessons are tailored to help pupils develop confidence and accuracy in reading comprehension, writing, spelling, punctuation and grammar (SPaG). I focus on building strong reading skills, including understanding texts, retrieving information, making inferences and explaining ideas clearly.
Lessons also develop writing techniques, helping pupils improve vocabulary, sentence structure, organisation and their ability to write effectively for different purposes and audiences. Through targeted activities, engaging texts and clear explanations, pupils learn how to apply their skills with confidence. Whether they need support to address gaps, consolidate key skills or be challenged further, lessons are adapted to help every child make progress and become confident readers and writers.
