About Sunrit

Sunrit is a student at Princeton University studying Operations Research and Financial Engineering. For over a decade, he has practiced Hindustani Vocal Classical music with performances on TV, radio, and across the world. He is also a 2nd degree black belt Taekwondo instructor and competitor, currently competing in the ECTC Conference and USAT Circuit. He spent this past summer as the general manager of his local Taekwondo center where he succeeded in revitalizing the business and doubling revenue. Currently he is leading market research and beta testing as a product intern for Plexus, a seed startup. For the spring, he will be management intern on the corporate partnerships team of Scholars of Finance, a national organization that supports a generation of ethical finance professionals.

In high school, Sunrit founded and led the iSTEM and TEDx clubs. Through iSTEM club he created STEM-based community service initiatives funded by a $750 yearly STEM education grant. He is also leading a $4,250 IEEE-in-epics grant project to bring clean drinking water to a drought-stricken village in rural West Bengal. With TEDx, Sunrit worked with 15 speakers to host two conferences in fields ranging from theatre to medical research to civil engineering. Details of these initiatives are published in three poster papers in the proceedings of the IEEE Integrated STEM Education Conference.

Sunrit also has diverse experiences in the world of science and healthcare. His commitment to mental health motivated him to found COVIDTeenline, a peer-counseling textline that worked with numerous teens in 7 countries during the pandemic. Through this textline, he worked with youth leaders in the UK to sent a petition for mental heath service funding to UK parliament. He also conducted caloric restriction and Fibroblast Growth Factor 21 oncology research at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. He will be included as an author on a review paper and national conference poster to be published soon. Finally, bridging his interests in health care and English literature, he gave an oral presentation at the University of Pittsburgh Humanities in Healthcare conference, the abstract of which is published on HealthPivot.org. During the college applications process, these activities earned him a conditional acceptance to medical school.

Sunrit has extensive experience college consulting, english literature tutoring, exam prep tutoring, and passion project mentorship.

About the lesson

I am an expert in college admissions, having myself been admitted to many top 20 and Ivy League schools. I've been taught by ex-admissions officers and my students consistently meet their admissions goals. I counsel on everything from application strategy, to essay editing, to common application development, to interview preparation and more.
