About Jaki
She has directed at leading institutions including Berkeley Repertory Theatre, New York Theatre Workshop, Ars Nova, Williamstown Theatre Festival, and Arena Stage. As a director, her films have screened at Tribeca, Palm Springs, San Francisco Film Festivals, among others, and she has written for Netflix, Paramount, FX, AGBO, Chernin and Artists Equity.

Jaki is a director, writer, and acting coach working across theater, film, and television.
As a coach, Jaki brings a director’s perspective into the audition room, helping actors make bold, specific choices that stand out. She specializes in audition prep, script analysis, and on-camera work, with a focus on clarity, confidence, and emotional truth.
Her work spans stage and screen, with films screening at major festivals and award-winning directing work, as well as extensive experience developing new plays at places like The Old Globe, La Jolla Playhouse, and O’Neill Theater Center—giving her deep insight into how performances are shaped from first read to final product.
Jaki works with actors at all levels on:

- Callback prep and confidence-building
A Fulbright Program scholar and member of the WGA and SDC, she offers a sharp, supportive, and highly practical approach to helping actors book work.
