About Muhammad Irhash

I, M. Irhash Salihin, S.Si, am a Fresh Graduate from major of Chemistry at the University of Jambi (graduated in 2020). I offer private chemistry lessons for you who are still in high school and college (D3, D4, & S1). I can teach lessons in Indonesian and English.

Sharing knowledge is a passion for me. However, not only sharing, but also I will make you understand the material presented.

Teacher Qualifications:

Conferred a Bachelor of Science (S.Si) in Chemistry, Jambi University, and graduated with honors (cumlaude), with a GPA of 3.95 out of 4.00 scale and a study period of 3 years 7 months.

Represented Jambi Province in the National Science Olympiad of National High School Chemistry in 2015.
Won 1st Place in the National Mathematics and Natural Sciences Olympiad in the field of Regional Higher Education Chemistry (Jambi, West Sumatra, Riau, Riau Archipelago) in 2018 and 2019.

Won the 1st Place in the National Higher Education Chemistry Olympiad at North Sumatra University (USU) in 2018.

About the lesson

A simple and sharp way of delivery for me is the best way to teach, so the material is easier for students to understand. Communication is not only one-way, but two-ways. I prioritize the stimulation of freedom of thought and the courage to express opinions by students, as applied by top universities in Indonesia and the world.

The emphasis on problem solving is the most important. Most students do not understand the material because they are taught to memorize, not understand. Here I emphasize understanding, because only a good understanding allows students to solve problems and use their reasoning to solve various kinds of problems, both on the exam paper and in the real world. So that they can score a proud chievement. Just memorizing won't help much!

I also emphasize examples that can be found in real life, so that students know what the actual use of the matter they learn is in the real world, not just to fill out answers on exam papers..

Experience as a laboratory assistant gave me a good experience on how to interact and make other people understand things.

I am a friendly person who easily adapts to the personality of the people I encounter when interacting. You don't have to worry about the possibility of awkwardness, because that won't happen. :)

I prioritize professionalism. I do not discriminate against differences in ethnicity, religion, race, class, gender, physical disability, or other social differences.
