About Chloe
I have been a private tutor in France since September 2024. I teach French and French literature to students aged 8 to 17, and prepare two of them for the French baccalauréat (the big exam French students need to pass to graduate high school). I currently have ten students, and all of them like our classes and are excited to work together (enjoying the classes you take is one of the most important things in learning). Whatever your age or level, we'll get you to your goal at your own pace.

My working method is to learn by doing. I don't give answers, I complete or correct the learner's answers.
I adapt to the learner, not the other way around. If one way of teaching doesn't work, we'll change strategy. It's important to me that the student feels at ease during our lessons, because this promotes learning.
My aim is to get you comfortable enough with the French language to be able to express yourself in French whatever your level or vocabulary.
We'll build on the foundation you already have, or we'll build that foundation together if you don't have one.
Whether you want to learn French for work, for travel, for your studies or for your love of the language, I'm the tutor for you.
I teach both French as a language and French literature (I have a Master's degree in French literature). Believe me, if you take French literature classes with me, you'll have an advantage that your fellow students won't have.
