Jake Ryan — Professional Drummer & Educator With 22 years behind the kit, Jake Ryan Dickinson is a seasoned drummer and educator based in Los Angeles. A graduate of Five Towns College of Performing Arts in New York, Jake has a deep passion for music and a diverse background in styles ranging from rock and jazz to funk and Latin and hip-hop and dance. Having recently moved to LA to pursue a full-time performing career, Jake is excited to share his expertise and love of drumming through personalized lessons designed for all levels. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to take your skills to the next level, Jake’s patient, clear, and inspiring teaching style will help you achieve your musical goals and musical vision!

Hi, I’m Jake Ryan Dickinson! I’m a passionate drummer with over 22 years of experience, and I recently relocated to Los Angeles to perform and gig full time. I graduated from Five Towns College of Performing Arts in New York, where I honed my skills and deepened my knowledge of drumming across various styles.
I offer personalized drum lessons for all skill levels — whether you’re a complete beginner eager to start, an intermediate player looking to improve technique, or an advanced drummer wanting to refine your skills and expand your creativity!
