James was the first true creative director i met. I was 23 at the time. We worked together at an agency creating brand experiences within the music industry.
As a young designer, I quickly respected james’s infinite knowledge of the design and art world’s past present, and future. He taught me the ins and outs of being a good designer; stong concepts, the importance of craft and a passion for type and all things lettering. A truly memorable part of my now 20 year Design career that would lead me to some of the most respected design agencies in New York City. This man is a legend, learn from him.
