About Nora

I teach students who are serious about guitar. Even of you're a beginner. Being serious means, you want to commit to practicing daily and really understand how music works, not only learn a few chords but build solid foundation. Or if you are an intermediate player, it would mean being serious about reaching the next level of fretboard fluency.
I teach beginner up to advanced levels.

I've studied jazz guitar for more than 20 years now, played music professionally for over 25. And taught more than 10'000 hours of guitar lessons during these years. My background is also fingerstyle arrangements, classical and flamenco guitar, my first paying gigs being playing solo restaurant gigs 22+ years ago. I also work as a session and side guitarist, covering pop, rock, blues, and funk ( on both - electric and acoustic guitars).

Whether you're a complete beginner or have been playing for decades, I tailor lessons to your needs. My students range from 5 to 70 years old, and I offer:

- Beginners: Learn your favourite songs and solid foundation.
- Intermediate: Elevate your skills and master the fretboard.
- Advanced: Dive into jazz improvisation and solo arrangements.

Explore classical guitar for grades or personal enjoyment. For electric guitar, study rock, pop, funk, and blues through rockschool grades or your favourite tracks. Alongside always understanding how it all works. Every song you learn should also teach you something about music and fretboard.
Acoustic enthusiasts can master strumming, melodies, and fingerstyle.

About the lesson

I have 25 years of experience teaching guitar internationally (on Zoom and abroad), as well as teaching in the UK for 15 years. I am very passionate and friendly, I really care about students' improvement. Lessons are completely personalised according to students' needs and wishes!- I offer extra video feedback in between lessons as well if that's what you would like!

- I have a lot of experience in preparing kids and adults for exams (rock school, classical guitar - Trinity and ABRSM) with great results. - Depending on your goals and level (singer-songwriter, classical, electric guitar, acoustic steel string or jazz guitar) I will pick a book for us or prepare a lesson plan myself. - Or if you are a hobbyist we will come up with a chilled and fun lesson plan for you too! It's all up to you! We will pick the best approach for lessons. For more advanced guitarists - I also instruct advanced jazz improvisation, fingerstyle and plectrum playing, and chord melody arranging for solo guitar.

My recent experience is teaching on Zoom for USA Sonora program - Guitar Mastery Intensive - 3 months curriculum and private lessons - I was a guitar mentor there. I have been a professional gigging guitarist for more than 25 years. I've officially studied jazz guitar. I also have studied classical and flamenco guitar, as well as arranging and composing. I am great with kids and I have been teaching beginner guitar for 25 years! And intermediate and advanced guitar for about 6-7 years. I am very passionate about guitar and I hope I will be the best fit for you!
