About Jorge

I am a producer, songwriter, mixing/mastering engineer, piano player and drummer originally from Madrid, Spain. After graduating from Berklee College of Music in Boston I moved to Los Angeles, where I'm now based.

My production and mixing work ranges from hip-hop, RnB and electronic music to alternative pop, rock and film scoring. I've worked producing artists such as Tonina, Brahny, OnCue and Grammy-award winner Abigail Barlow, accumulating millions of plays across streaming platforms. I've also created hundreds of songs for multiple production music libraries and gained placements in TV shows such as “Kim’s Convenience”, “Catfish” and the Spanish TV show “Elite”. My music can also be heard in movies such as "Les Amigues de L'Àgata" (2015, Spain) and "Runner" (2022, USA).

About the lesson

I tailor my lessons to each student, we will first be figuring out your specific needs, your musical direction, and then teach you the exact skills you need to get there.

We will learn to turn your musical ideas into a fully written, produced, mixed and mastered song ready to be released!

I often work setting up zoom sessions in which I produce and mix your song as you watch and ask questions. I use Ableton and can teach its ins and outs. We can also cover the basics of music theory, ear training and piano.

I teach all ages, and will meet you at whatever stage of learning you are.

Jorge is a wonderful teacher of all things music! I've done several Ableton lessons with him now, and he is extremely knowledgeable and patient. His instruction style is laid back but professional; he's really great at taking stock of what you already know and crafting a unique lesson plan built on your interests and strengths.

I wanted to get back to producing house beats, which I had started to do with two friends in highschool several years ago, before stopping during college and after. When I met Jorge for the first time he quickly understood what I wanted to do, and he really helped me get a grip on Ableton to produce some nice music. He's an amazing teacher, patient and kind but also pushing when you need some extra confidence ! I now produce music as a hobby again, and I sometimes schedule a course with him to review my beats and learn some new skills or sound methods. Great guy :)
