About Turlough

I graduated six years ago from the Guildford school of acting with a first class BA Hons degree. Since leaving drama school, I have worked intensively in television and film as well as West end Theatre, my credits include MY MAD FAT DIARY, POLDARK, READY PLAYER ONE Directed by Stephen Spielberg and the Original Cast of Jez Butterworth's The Ferryman Directed by Sam Mendez. I am currently appearing as "BEAR" in the BAFTA & Emmy award winning series KILLING EVE.

I have been tutoring actors for over 5 years and am an associate tutor at the Guildford School of Acting and have regularly sat on the first round acting audition panel, which gives me a great insight into what you need to do to stand out when auditioning for drama school or auditioning in the professional acting business.

About the lesson

I am a passionate teacher and truly understand the importance of an acting tutors role, in developing not only the actor but the person behind the actor. I focus on building self confidence as I believe this to be the key to being able to create, develop and truly inhabit a character and their journey.

I use the mainly us the methods of Stanislavsky and Meisner, however I believe each actor is unique, therefore it is so important to me to help you develop your own methods, to find true connection to the work to make you realise your full potential in acting.
