About Jon-Mykul
Hi! I'm Jon-Mykul Bowen, a working professional theater actor, clown, and trained voice teacher. I've studied with New York Vocal Coaching Voice Teachers program and I am certified in the Meisner In Music method (Level 1) of acting through song. I have also performed in musical theater in the past decade in Barbados, with award-winning shows from Operation Triple Threat (The Little Mermaid, Matilda, The Theory of Relativity) where I played many featured roles. I've taught voice in person as an assistant vocal tutor with Operation Triple Threat's 7 to 11 group and have taught lessons in Barbados and New York. I promise to give and share my tips and tricks to getting the voice you can be proud of. I believe every singer is an artist and I want you to develop your own sound. My teaching is based on you!
Each lesson is based around you and your goals. I custom design vocal exercises to help train and develop your voice. We then can work on a song of your choice to sing and apply the technique there. I am also a trained musical theater actor and an acting through song coach with the 'Meisner in Music' method, so I can also coach you in performance as well.
These lessons are for singers of any level or ability, as long as you are interested and willing to work. Lessons will typically last for one hour.
